The Five Loaves is a ministry that provides methods, online resources and event opportunities for spiritual growth and renewal. We enable people of faith to open themselves to the gift of grace and to make meaning of their experience of God in everyday life.
Looking back, we see how our ministry was being formed long before we understood. We were following the breadcrumbs that led to The Five Loaves before it had a name, or mission, or design. Our life experiences, educational pursuits, career choices and spiritual discernments have prepared us for this ministry together.
Our mission is to host a place where your stories of grace and blessing, your gifts and talents, can be spiritual food for others. We hope you will join us frequently on the hillside.
TOM TOMASZEK
Pastoral Director and co-founder of The Five Loaves, Tom Tomaszek, is an author, composer, educator, and liturgical musician. He is a sought after presenter for national and regional events and retreats. Tom’s experience in teaching, pastoral ministry, and music publishing make for presentations that are relevant, insightful, and inspiring. He is versed in a breadth of topics, and has a particular passion for spirituality, prayer, and worship for all ages. Tom holds Masters degrees in both Theological Studies and Education.
KIMI TOMASZEK
Editorial Director and co-founder of The Five Loaves, Kimi Tomaszek, brings critical technical and administrative skills to the ministry. She has served as executive assistant to four corporate presidents, human resource administrator, employee benefits coordinator, office manager, tour guide and travel specialist. Kimi attended the University of Hawaii, volunteered for the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind, Hawaii Special Olympics, and Big Island Hospice. In 2010 she opened Kimi's Desk, a virtual assistant business.
