Pilgrimage in the Holy Year of Mercy
Pope Francis has declared a Holy Year of Mercy from December 8, 2015 to November 20, 2016. During this time, Christians are encouraged to make "true pilgrimages" to holy sites, to be missionaries of mercy, and to ask for forgiveness of sins.
Now is an affordable time to plan travel to Europe - the Euro is currently at a low exchange to the US dollar.
